More about Dr. Ginger Holczer, PSYD
Ginger Holczer, PsyD, is a licensed psychologist in Springfield, Missouri. Although therapy and working with clients is first and foremost, she supervises students, facilitates groups, and does speaking engagements in the area. Currently, she is the Program Director of the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and assistant professor at The School for Professional Psychology at Forest Institute and an adjunct instructor at Drury University, teaching several courses throughout the year. Dr. Holczer has co-authored a book entitled, "Finding and Revealing Your Sexual Self," published by Rowman and Littlefield.
Dr. Holczer earned her doctorate from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. While practicing psychology, she realized that many people were struggling with issues surrounding intimacy and sexuality (click here to find out more about sex therapy). As a result, she felt it would enhance her work with some of her clients to seek certification in sex therapy, through AASECT (American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists). She enjoys seeing both individuals and couples find their way to a better path in life.
